In the end we downloaded a trial copy of CorelDraw - after 5-7 mins familarising ourselves - we managed to accomplish everything we needed - take an EPS/AI, decompose to parts of the image we require, export only that part as an SVG - job done.įree trials are not possible on the Mac App Store (except for the convoluted workaround that involves in-app purchases with $0 price). We have powerful iMac Pro's (2017 model) with 128GB ram with 10 cores and yet this app struggled on basic operations that we were trying to perform.
