Install and tighten the drain plug with a new crush washer ensuring you lubricate the crush washer lightly with ATF. Remove the drain plug to drain into the pan, discard old crush washer. Shut off the engine, allow to cool for 2-3 minutes. Crank the engine, allow it to idle for a moment and then while keeping your foot on the brake slowly move from Park to Manual and back to Park, pausing for a moment on each one.
